Your Phone Can Wait is an advocacy and awareness campaign about intentional phone-free family moments. This page explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and how to reach us.
What we collect
Information you share with us. If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply to you.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site collects basic technical information when you visit, such as the pages you view, your browser type, and general location (country or region). This is collected through Google Analytics and Google Search Console, connected through Site Kit by Google, and through our security plugins (All-In-One Security and Wordfence), which may log IP addresses to block spam and attacks.
Cookies. This site uses cookies from Google Analytics and from WordPress itself to understand how visitors use the site and to keep the site secure. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
No store, no accounts, no payments. This site does not currently sell anything, does not ask you to create an account, and does not collect payment information. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Reply to emails you send us.
- Understand which pages people visit, so we can improve the site.
- Keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers.
Who we share information with
We share limited technical information with the services that run this site: Google (Analytics and Search Console), our web host, and our security plugins. Those services process information under their own privacy policies.
Children’s privacy
This campaign is about families, and children are part of the audience — but this website is not directed at collecting information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not publish photos of children without explicit permission. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, email [email protected] and we will remove it.
Your choices
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete emails you sent us, by writing to [email protected].
- You can opt out of analytics cookies in your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change, and the new version will be posted here.
